Always unique and an extravagant experience in Sacramento ! Our servers (I’ve been here 3+ times) have always been attentive and go above and beyond. Their menu rotates and so you will never be bored, there’s always something new to try and even if it sounds questionable on the menu, once you eat it, you become a fan! Having said that, if you see pasta on the menu- get it ! They’re exceptionally well made (hand-made). Great wine selection and when you specify the occasion they can print menus with the party’s name/occasion as you wish! Very attentive to details and overall great ambiance.

Everything was beyond stellar. The trifecta: food, service, & vibe. Food: We ordered the baby artichoke appetizer, scallop entrée and steak entrée; all dishes were scrumptious and we even got an amuse-bouche from the chef. Service: This is the WOW factor. Sat immediately at a nice spot, everyone greeted us a happy anniversary. The menus were even customized with a greeting. The server was knowledgeable about the food. When the sun came out and hit my back, I didn't even have to tell them; they just opened an umbrella and asked if we were okay. Everyone is just so much nicer and happier compared to my hometown which made our vacation and anniversary more memorable. Vibe: it's quite unique and welcoming. Set in a historic firehouse with an fresh outdoor atmosphere. It's been a while since I was this impressed with all aspects of a restaurant. Keep it up and thank you to the Mulvaney's B&L team for making our dinner memorable.

Where to begin! Made anniversary reservations here for Tuesday 7:30pm. Day of- I noticed google showing that restaurant is closed on Tuesday’s! After called numerous times- I finally got a hold of someone who informed me that they are actually open on Tuesday’s & weren’t sure why google shows otherwise. (I submitted a correction to google to fix this) Me and my wife showed up 30 mins early thinking we can just wait at the bar but thankfully we were seated right away. Our server- Michael, was such an amazing host to us! He made sure our glasses were always full, made sure food came out appropriately and helped tremendously with us choosing what to order. Each and everything thing we ordered was awesome. The soup, bread, tortellini & the dessert were my favorite! I had the wagyu steak & I wasn’t really impressed. I’ve had wagyu at quite a few other spots & this was my least favorite. It didn’t taste bad or anything- it just wasn’t “out of this world” for my taste buds. Desserts were great & it was really thoughtful for them to write a message for us on the plate which made it that much better. Food is definitely unique & the experience was wonderful. I would definitely be back & highly recommend it if you’ve been debating about stopping by. and I just want to say that our server Michael was really great and management should be very proud to have someone like him on the team!

We celebrated our 32nd anniversary here tonight. Best choice ever! Food was great. Our server Jana was awesome. She was always available and answered every question we had about the menu. Very knowledgeable. Best experience ever.

I wouldn't wear shorts there. It's a very nice restaurant. They may not kick you out, but that doesn't make it appropriate.
We always park on the street out front, if we're lucky, or within a block some place. They don't have a dedicated parking lot for guests.
If you sit outside in the courtyard it is nice for families. We have done it before. The kids loved the famous ding-dong dessert.
It was very nice. Very intimate and you can hear your conversations. We had my mothers birthday dinner there. The 4 of us were able to have a relaxing dinner there.
