Homes there are privately owned but the office does keep a list of owners that are wanting to rent their homes bc some of them do seasonal rentals. You do have to be approved through the owners committee to be able to stay there.

No, we do not. Only mobile homes set on a slab are allowed. All lots currently have homes on them.

When they are there, it's right on the water so some get damaged some don't. My mom sustained a lot of damage during the '05 and minimal a few years ago.

Each mobile is privately owned, so every home will be different. Rentals are handled by the individual owner but the resident must be approved by the Office. The Office has very little info on available rentals unless a resident has mentioned it to them.

The land is owned by the Association. You own a share in the Association. The land is yours under a 99 year automatically renewed lease for as long as the home is owned and the owner remains in good standing with the Association. While there is no lot rent, there is a monthly maintenance fee. Currently (June 2019) that fee is $167 per month and covers lawn maintenance, basic digital cable, high speed internet, and unlimited use of all on-site amenities.
