To the staff members that go above and beyond to care for the people living at this facility, your work does not go unnoticed. Cornerstone is a wonderful and beautiful community with many positive aspects, including the beautiful landscaping, the welcoming staff members and the countless opportunities it provides the residents. The one thing I would like to improve, however, is the limited number of activities provided on a daily basis. This community becomes a home to so many and it is essential that activities are provided to keep these individuals busy and happy. While there are activities provided, some of the staff members do not seem very engaged from an outside perspective and the same activities are provided each week.

We are so grateful to have found Cornerstone for my mom. Although she moved in during the pandemic much care was taken to keep residents safe. I cannot believe the number of activities provided. She is living a much fuller life than she ever would have had at home. She is never in her room! Most important, the staff truly knows her, took her on walks when she was new and unsure, helped her make friends, and recently threw her a wonderful birthday party. I know she is safe and I know she is happy.

I cannot say enough good things about Cornerstone! My Dad, who is a pretty spry 97 year old, moved in to Cornerstone on a trial respite stay in January 2019...and never left. After my Mom, his wife of 60 years, passed in June 2018, he was so lost. He soon moved in with my husband and me down the Cape. As much as We loved having him with us, he was a little unsteady and we didn’t feel comfortable to leave him alone. He really didn’t want anyone to come to the house, so I suggested Cornerstone. He said “”Ok!” The process of getting him in on a respite was so pleasant, and he liked it so much he decided to stay! From the very first day, until now nearly 2 years later, each and every interaction I’ve had with the staff has been exemplary. My Dads Cornerstone family loves him, watches out for him, and absolutely cherishes him! My gratitude is endless, and their response to protecting my Dad and all the residents during the pandemic has been beyond reproach. I know he can’t be with us, and I’m so grateful that he is there, and I know he’s safe in every way. I particularly appreciate Mike and Nell, Eileen and Mikayla in the kitchen, and Nurse Carl. God bless all of you! I could go on for days, but as usual I’m crying and have to go Dry my tears! Thank you to everyone at Cornerstone for the loving care you give him every day!

Cornerstone has been a wonderful and stress free environment for my brother, Brian. With COVID I felt completely confident that he was well taken care of and in a very safe facility. Michael kept us updated at least twice weekly on both the safety precautions taken and any prearranged visits we could sign up for. The constant activities were lively and fun for all. Having the comfort and confidence that your loved one is being well cared for and happy has convinced me that Cornerstone is the best assisted living facility in the area. Thank you
