They have the most beautiful lighting fixtures anywhere and specialize in antique fixtures. Jane has chosen many beautiful lampshades for me over the years and they have done many lamp repairs. High quality workmanship that you cannot find anywhere else. So sorry that left Brookline but now I have left myself and moved to NH! I will be contacting Jane regarding a replacement lamp shade soon!

Fabulous one of a kind store. I have f de one business with them for years and the staff is superb and guide you to selecting the right size shade for your lamp plus the shade and lamp selection is outstanding. I see the Chestnut Hill location us closed. I was sorry to see that!

How to find perfection in lighting? Visit Appleton's where the beautiful lamp bases and shades and the many exquisite chandeliers will more than just please you. We have purchased lamp bases, chandeliers and shades for our homes over the last ten or twelve years or longer from Appleton's and have never had a problem. We have a wide selection of fabric, hardback and glass lampshades! Bring your lamp in if possible, and we'll help you find the right shade.
We are not buying glass at the moment.
