Nice place for a nature walk or hike. Cute old bridge to go over the water. If you climb up beyond the train tracks you get a view of the mountains.

This was my first visit to Laura's Tower. There are two trails, one that loops around next to the river and the second that leads to a steel staircase which gives an amazing view of the surrounding area. The loop is flat and easily accessible and the trail to the tower is more of a moderate climb with some rocky terrain. Worth it when you reach the top. No facilities. Pro: dogs on leash allowed. Con: very limited parking.

Great, easy path along the Housatonic River. try parking at Town Offices to extend the walk up a short hill, path begins there.

There is no charge. If trails are your thing I strongly suggest you download the app on your phone that is called alltrails. It's a free app and no matter where you are in the world it will show you what trails are in the area. It even works has a GPS to get you to the trailheads and you can see yourself actually.
