We have been bringing our cats here for 6 years since we got them as kittens. We were able to see them in an urgent situation before we even established them as our vet. Their new facility is much bigger and has separate waiting areas for cats and dogs. Front desk staff are friendly, vet techs are knowledgeable, and we've had good experiences with all 3 DVMs. One of our cats also gets groomed there 3-4x/year. I like that they know her history and have a comparable price (or cheaper) than local pet stores for grooming.

The staff are incredibly generous, caring, thoughtful, and has always been accommodating for all of my dog's needs! Overall, everyone is friendly and the facility is clean. I would highly recommend anyone to come to Aqueduct Animal Hospital!

I absolutely love the entire staff! As does my dogs and they are very comfortable they have so much compassion for my babies. I wouldn't go anywhere else if I have a question they are right on it and care so much for my babies they even call and check up on them! I truly couldnt ask for a better vet! Their prices are great too! They dont sales talk you like other places.

We recommend spaying your dog around 6 months of age.
We routinely spay dogs and they do great after surgery. We provide pain medications before, during and after the procedure. Our modern anesthetic combinations minimize pain and complications. Our technicians will monitory your patient throughout the entire procedure. They monitor the EKG, the percentage of oxygen in the blood, the blood pressure and temperature. We place an IV catheter so if there are any complications, they can be managed quickly. We encourage you to visit our website where we have a lot of information about anesthesia and surgery at our practice. If you have any specific questions regarding your pet, we encourage you to make an appointment so we can evaluate your dog's specific needs and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your interest in our hospital.
I say same. Call, ask. They are there into the evening most days. And personal experience, they do everything they can, but if its something out of their realm, they say so. I think thats very professional... not using my pet to learn on. Can't hurt to call and ask if they can help you and your furbaby.
Yes, we can test her for microfilaria and treat her for heartworm as necessary. If you would like to schedule an appointment to discuss treatment of your dog, please call us at 518-346-3467.
