After 2 years of going there, I had a problem. I always count and bag my plastic and cans in 50 count bags. I has 5 bags. The gentleman told me I could only bring 50 at a time. He finally took my 50 cans and 200 plastic. First time I have ever had a problem at any recycle in California. I pay 5c each , I want my 5c back.

No money for your recyclables, and they don't accept cardboard. But we're staying at an RV park, so it sure is nice to find a place that even accepts recycling.

Always nice and never rips you off like other recycling centers. Also way nicer workers than at the recycling place in Yreka. I travel 60 miles to go here because if how great the place is.

Great folks to work with. Helpful. Fast. But...all the tubs are really dirty and fowl smelling. I don’t expect shiny clean in recycling but a hose off every month sure wouldn’t hurt.

Siskiyou Opportunity Recycling Center is open Monday - Saturday 9am-4pm. The main office is closed on Saturday.
Just recently but I don't know what it is.
I just noticed this question. This was asked on Columbus Day. The Recycling Center is closed on all holidays. A sign is posted for all scheduled closures, and a message recorded on the answering machine as well. Not sure why this person didn't see the sign posted next to the hours and phone number.
