I’ve been to the shop on three occasions, and ordered bow strings over the phone and email. The shop is a traditional archer’s paradise, with a huge selection of vintage bows and gear, as well as the new stuff. Alexander is a fine gentleman, with loads of archery knowledge, and his custom bow strings are excellent. Anyone interested in recurves and longbows needs to pay this place a visit.

Sells both longbows and recurve bows (new and used)
Hello Robert, There are many ways to learn, often used in combination, to learn archery and it's probably different for everyone. There's everything from learning from an older family member to highly structured formal classes. There are also many types of archery, from primitive to instinctive to Olympic style target style to hunting to Asian and horse style and more. There are many kinds of bows and equipment, too. Of course, we prefer the Traditional / Instictive style for it's simplicity and personal satisfaction but there's something for everyone, right? The biggest hint that we can give is to practice, practice, practice but have fun, too. It is equally important to learn the RIGHT way, not the wrong way as it is very difficult to un-learn bad habits. You would need to seek out learning venues in your area that match your intended goal. We can recommend our friends at Ace Archers in Foxboro, MA (https://www.acearchers.com/).
