We were on a ride trip many years ago in Oct. It was cold, wet and snowing. They were closed for the season by they were so nice to take us on a trail ride that day. This year I ended up in the area again & thought of this place. Wanted to try again in better weather. Unfortunately they are not open yet. Cars driving on this back trail need to slow down. Crazy driver went by the ranch today when I was there.

First time on a trail ride they took us down the middle of the road. I was already nervous and it just made my anxiety worse. Then a car came and the guide took us towards the car. I almost cried (for the horses sake) when the guide started yelling at the car. The car wasn’t even moving and the guide was screaming at them to drive the speed limit. I felt so bad for the driver.

Never been riding here but I wouldn’t choose to and would never let my child go there either. I drive through often and most of the time the riders are in the road with the guide and the guides always pull the horses in front of my car blocking the road. One time the guide had a bunch of kids tied to her. She led her horse in front of my car while I was trying to pass barely going 5mph and she proceeds to yell at me in front of all her kids making a huge deal when she has several hundred acres to ride on. Make sure you take a detour when traveling through.

I've been trail riding three times with Pond Hill. Each time has been a great experience. They match us up perfectly with the horses. Great animals, amazing views and knowledgeable staff.
