Excelent prices, overall well organized store. Great variety of fruits and vegetables, and well stocked deli as well. Can't say much about the meats, cause i don't buy any. Kudos for Mihaela for helping me setup my store card today. Amazing attendant. Got great service from her. Would like to also appreciate Melissa's help on that matter as well, who showed up to solve an issue on the system related to the name input (i have way too many middle names hahahaha) Definitely recommend visiting! Will be buying there weekly.

Stop&Shop takes advantage of customers. For instance I went to buy a watermelon and the employee said that they didn't have any for 2 weeks. While usually it has watermelon year around. It's summer time, watermelon is highly in demand, so they prefer to sell the cut up one, which they have plenty of, which is less than 1/2 melon, per box, for 3 times the price of a whole melon. The prices of everything are already little to high, but it's not enough, they have to find ways to take advantage of any situation. BAD BAD BAD And I'm talking about stop&shop taking advantage of customers by not providing the whole watermelon and by having the cut up one. Stop&shop do not provide certain product, on purpose to make the customers buy the more expensive alternative, so they can make tons of money out of it. I keep on updating this review. A month now into stop&shop not having whole watermelon. BJ's has it, Market Basket has it, Costco has it, Trader Joe has it, every grocery store I know has it, with the exception of stop&shop. The other stores do run out of it from time to time but they replenish it within 2 days max. Little over a month now, and stop&shop doesn't not have the whole watermelon. They do have the pre-cut one which they sell for little over $20 a box for half a melon. Which means they sell the amount of one watermelon for little over $40. So why bother and bring the whole watermelon and sell it for $8. Stop&shop take advantage of any occasion to rip of customers.

Very good quality fruits and vegetables available. Large collection of meat and wine too. Saw a person stocking items in shelves drink some from a pack and then keep it back on the shelf . He saw me but did not give any reaction . Not sure if this happens often.

Pretty disappointed with my last visit here- I went through the self check out with an item listed as one price that rang in as another much more expensive price. It's the state law and within Stop and Shop policy to adjust the price when this happens then change the tag, no big deal. There were 2 women working the self checkout, woman 1 wasn't going to help me at all and woman 2 was very snippy and rude. I went back to take a picture of it and when I was showing them the picture, woman 2 takes my phone out of my hand to look closer but I wasn't handing her my phone, its frankly unacceptable to grab a customers phone out of their hand. She mentioned she's worked there since 2015 so I'm confused why there was any issue to adjusting the price at all. Then she says she has to "write this down" and takes it away for 5 minutes while I wait for it's return. Then I tell her she just voided it and she needs to scan it still but she assures me she rang it in at the right price- which she didn't ring it in at all. She says "patience is a virtue" but I don't appreciate spending half my lunch break in a check out line for stop and shop to fix the issue they created. I was incredibly nice the entire interaction, and I wasn't wrong- I used to work at a stop and shop. So at the end of the day, I got it for free but the entire interaction was unnecessarily uncomfortable and I hope the staff can at least be fully trained on the laws in Massachusetts. And maybe also the functions of self check out.

I live alone I love watermelon. I can eat a whole one on my own in several days. IF I find that I am not eating it fast enough I share it with my neghbors.
Nadia,I agree. And,I am in no way affiliated with them. That being said,I rarely, if ever, have been to any large supermarket that did not have a line at check out. It becomes a game, of sorts, rushing around to see the shortest line.
They do......
No, it's a rip off. Triple charge for everything and expired products. Took away everything and it's either store brand or they think they are whole foods. They don't ever have dog food making me constantly change my dogs diet-unacceptable. Also the gray meat is consistently disgusting to look at. Biggest rip off ever. And EVERYTHING IS EXPIRED
Most items are prepackaged when they come in the store. Even watermelon. The whole ones come in the big cardboard bins you see them displayed in. There are food plants that have been destroyed by fires. Truck driver shortage. So unfortunately the end result is difficulty getting stock into the stores.
um I'm not really sure but I think so it depends on which stop & shop you go to
Employees are on strike still. I would consider a non stop & shop grocery store in the meantime. You should be able to check on the news to see if the strike is still in effect. Since it is a large scale strike there will be news coverage.
No but Jay's pizza and ice cream is selling trees
Not with a live person. But there's a machine that copies keys. Not sure how it works.
No The sultana fears.
If you can walk, talk, and bring $, you shouldn't have any problems at all!
Monday through Saturday at 11 p.m. Not sure about Sunday though it's usually less hours on a Sunday
