I have had multiple appointment and 3 procedures with Dr. Thomas Zouki. I have back issues causing leg pain in both legs. I have been dealing with this issues since I was 18 yrs old and am now in my early 40s. My first Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injection (ESI) was when I was 18, it was extremely painful and caused my issued to get worse ultimately resulting in surgery to correct. My 2nd ESI was about 10 years ago at a spine center in Southern Maine. Again it was very painful and caused a Vasovagal response. For the first 5 weeks after I received my 2nd injection I had zero relief before it finally kicked in and I had 90% relief. I started having issues again in late 2020 and made an appointment with WDH Center for Pain Management. My first ESI with Dr. Zouki was in February of 2021. I explained my experiences with my previous two shots and Dr. Zouki understood my hesitation and gave me some to help me relax. I felt immediate relief which lasted for 3 months. I returned for a 2nd shot which lasted for 6 months. I just had 3rd shot which again gave immediate relief. I was never once offered opioids (which I did not want) nor did I ever feel like I was not being heard. Very good practice, I highly recommend.

Place is a joke horrible doctor experience dismissed my pain told me I had to get off the opioid in order for my pain to go away and when I told him I went months with out them and it was only 10 times worst wouldn't listen to me thought I was just pill hunting but when I proved him wrong bc of my 3 months without them he still said they went a good option for me. This place is a joke

The staff and doctors pay attention to your needs. They never dismiss how you feel or how you deal with pain.
