Aged, outdated buildings, retailitory staff, does not follow rules, regulations, health codes. Don't believe me, see for yourself! Meanwhile the town encourages minority and low income individuals to move in, I guess $1400 a month for low income elderly individual in a tiny studio unit is a steal, especially when you have your heat pipes freeze and burst every year, but hey it's low income right, or the family units that had no working fire hydrant for 18months, No problem!

You can run anytime...ms Hazelft does a good job
I'm a new resident at MHA. So far I've noticed nothing out of acceptable condition. A person could nitpick anywhere they go and find something everywhere there they've been but if you look for the positive you will find that too. Sometimes positions of jobs and these days aren't field correctly because you know the generation coming into the workforce is been spoiled it's easier for them to sit back and collect unemployment then it is to go out and put a good day's work in with a skillful set of hands and a sharp mind. The generation that fixed things has slowly been dwindling and that's something that we must accept and deal with it or do something about it. I have a roof over my head and I have water coming out of my faucet and my toilet flushes. I can lock my front door and I can lay down in a bed. I'm set and I appreciate everything I've got thank you Marblehead Housing Authority.
You can apply on CHAMP housing, but I would suggest taking a ride around the developments prior to applying. The properties are failing and the systemic abuse is evident. Google Marblehead Housing Authority and find the street names take a look. You will never believe your lying eyes!
There is supposed to be, no one overseeing the housing authority is a huge issue. They have elderly tenants paying 1478 which is 30% of income for tiny studio units in which are failing and the whole entire town let's them get away with the violations and systemic abuse!
The board is on their website, they have meetings once a month I believe and I'm pretty sure those are also posted on the website.
