Schiller Park has lot's of space and it's perfect if you like having picnics🍔🍎 There's so much space too! If you want to run🏃, play catch⚾, or train in the grass🏉 you don't have to worry about not having any room, because theirs plenty of it👍The park also has workout machines you can use such as a machine for your quads and calves 💪🏼, dip bars for your arms🏋, a machine so you can workout your abs, and my personal favorite, the pull-up bars.💪🏼💪🏼(They have different sized bars so almost any size and age can use them😆) There is barely any noise, but I do wish their was more shade for when it gets hot, but I must say overall, I give Schiller Park🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟(5 Stars). I recommend it to anyone who likes a peaceful environment💯💯God bless you all!🙏🏼😁

This was a very nice park. I googled local parks close to SJH and I initially went to a park on Highland or called Highland Park, but it was a Dump there. Eventually Google led us to Schiller Park and the location was stunning. We didn't visit the pool as it was early in the day and not open, but the location, trees, and hills were stunning. The park is further down the hill off from Farmer St., which was a bit confusing as GPS did not take us that way however, once we git better directions from the local parks and recs officer, we found the entrance. The park offered a lot, and you could tell maintenance and grounds were kept up, which is important. I loved how the park had 2 different sections to accommodate ages and abilities. One side older kids, one younger. This would make a wonderful place for a birthday party, and picnic.

Very nice neighborhood park. The vies of the city skyline is gorgeous. I would imagine un the summer when the trees have their leaves the view won't be as good but the park will be prettier because of almost the trees and the shade. It's a great place to walk by one's self, with a companion, human or canine.
