I worked there for a year and a month. I never fit in. I was all about helping the residents and getting new residents moved in. I was told I was a push over. Don't help the residents. Don't let them stand at the window and talk to you. Don't let people move in who smell or God forbid had problems. I fought and was fired. I loved my job. I'm sorry to all the residents I let down. I cared about you. I'm so sorry. Flag

I have been visiting people at the towers for fifteen years and have been impressed with the warm welcoming and safe feeling I take for granted when being on the grounds as well as in the buildings. There is a store and deli and library and workout room and laundry room and community room for food fellowship and fun. Church services are offered and game activities and shuttles to grocery stores plus city busses stopping all day long. I have noticed renovations and brighter walls and flooring over the years happening and have been in the visitors parking lot at various times day and night and have always felt safe. The beautiful grounds make it even lovelier to spend time with the people I visit while outside. Great place!

Elevators are almost always occupied and remodel feels cheap. Security's more friendly then staff.

Definitely not upscale but beats living under a bridge. Despite recent upgrades the ventilation systems were not touched. The ones still working run about three hours a day allowing heavy cigarette smoke to invade the apartments of non smokers. The vertical ventilation shafts connected are completely open to all apartments on the vertical line. Should a fire break out in one of the lower units at night serious loss of life should be expected from combustion gas flowing vertically. Brighton Towers also has bed bug issues. Be prepared to deal with the inconvenience of their attempts to deal with it.
