The kids working inside helped my dad and I tremendously. They set us up with a rod, line, everything we needed to fish for the first time. They took the time to explain the pros and cons of each rod and didn’t pressure us to buy the most expensive equipment. Extremely helpful group of kids in here. Saved my dad and I a lot of time and hassle. They even set up the fishing line on our new poles for us and explained how to tie knots & get the lure on there.

Went in there by a dozen clam worms got them home looked at them there wasn't a dozen the rest were bits and pieces went back told him I had the Box and but I needed another box and they charge me another $12 not very much on customer service they'll never see my business again

Not business friendly. Would not honor Rhode Island tax exemption or take a business check which they did before. Way overpriced. Will never go back and will discourage others in charter industry to do business here. A lot friendlier tackle shops that offer discounts to charter boats.

Ruin my fishing outing. This is place is terrible to buy live crabs. I've gone to this place several times this year and they are extremely cheap with the portion. You're actually getting around 1/2 quart when your are paying premium for a quart and the worst part is most of the crabs are dead and ROTTEN!!!!. 3 out of 4 times I experience it from this place. If others are experiencing the same, please leave a review and hopefully they will change their business practice. Until then, SAM's bait shop is getting my business. They have always been good and you get what you pay for.
