This seems like a nice brewery/pub situated across from the lake but when it came time to order and eat their food they disappointed greatly. Starting off when we were ordering the waitress let us know that they ran out of French fries due to a “busy” weekend they had. This taking place on a Sunday… mind you a non holiday weekend Sunday this caught me off guard a little but I was fine with taking the salad option. I ordered the turkey club wrap which looked like a good option on the menu but what ended up being served was a huge let down. They had also somehow ran out of bacon which was never once mentioned by the waitress or menu until the food was delivered…so I was stuck with a few pieces of turkey rolled up in a tortilla with minimal flavoring. When I asked the waitress what was up with the wrap she felt that was a good time to tell me they had run out of bacon and she “offered” to let me order something else. I took a pass because it wasn’t in the cards to wait another hour for an average tasting cheeseburger that I would have ordered in the first place had I wanted. I figured they would give a little discount since they failed to add the item that makes the wrap what it is… boy was I wrong they still had no issue charging full price for half of what is listed on the menu. This normally wouldn’t set me off as much as it did but this was a severe customer service and communication letdown from a restaurant that charges $16 for a wrap.

Stopped here after going to the High Falls Gorge for lunch. It was amazing! The beers are all made in-house. The Hefeweizen was my favorite. I ordered the Korean Pulled pork sandwich. It was really good. Paired well with some of the beers from the flight I ordered. What really made this place 5 stars was the experience we had. We were able to be seated inside right away. I highly recommend you ask for Brodie as your waiter. His Customer service was second to none. Always checked up on us and made sure we were always good. It’s a pretty popular spot for food so you might have to wait a bit but it is totally worth it. I’ll be back here for sure when I’m back in Lake Placid. Big shout out to the owners and staff at Lake Placid Pub and Brewery

Our family had been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to try Lake Placid Pub &Brewery. Labor day weekend we stopped for lunch and some drinks. Our server, Fran, was outstanding. The beers were top notch and we ordered crowlers to take to our campsite. Our lunches were delicious and hit the spot. See pictures. Our experience was excellent and we highly recommend Lake Placid Pub & Brewery.
