Loved our stay at Lawrence cabin! Very rustic and secluded, we especially loved the dock right on the water, my son caught fish off the dock all day long (highlight of his vacation!) Small kitchen and bathroom right in the cabin and minutes from the village of Saranac. The owners were very accommodating and friendly, we liked that we could rent a canoe right there from them and spent an afternoon out on the lake. Only thing I wish is that the water was a bit clearer right by the cabin, was hoping to go swimming right at the cabin. But we did end up finding a beach at Colby Lake about 5-10mins away. Highly recommend for someone looking to escape for a week!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Camp Adele. The owners are great, especially when we showed up with a 20 foot Bass Boat. The launch & dock were a plus. The town of Saranac is a 5 minute drive. Lake Placid & White Face Mountain is a short drive away. We enjoyed the local microbreweries & great food. Don't hesitate to rent Cochran's Cabins & enjoy nature at it's finest.

Cochran’s cabins is an excellent experience. First the family is great, very welcoming and run top notch operation. Cabin are conveniently close to everything in Saranac area but feel like you are in middle of no where. We were in camp Lawrence and did not go in any other cabin but it was comfortable with everything you need for your stay. We were on annual fishing trip and spoiled by cabins. If you want relaxing, rustic, accommodations that really are just great I highly recommend.

We had the best time. We kayaked all over the place. The cabin was perfect. So perfect I can't tell you the name as we want to have it annually. Great place. Great location. Saranac village is super cute but the dock was the best part. Even got to open a lock manually, which doesn't sound like fun but it was.

No, sorry! We are in close proximity but not on a trail.
I asked the owners maybe about 10 yrs.ago and they said no. Whether they are or not now I don't know. If you ever do go you will absolutely LOVE IT.
