Beautiful, clean, tranquil. Feels like a secret getaway after the chaos of the theme parks. Spot lots of wildlife and maybe enjoy a spot of canoeing at The Paddling Centre Remember your bug spray thought is mosquitos like you

I come here a lot. It's a great place to get out and paddle. I usually go during the weekdays where it's not busy at all. The guys at the paddling center are very helpful if you need a rental or if you want to go on a tour. If you bring your own vessel and want to go on your own, the launch is free. The parking lot is small but if you have a truck and trailer or if you just need to find extra space you can go across 192 and park there

Great board walk and an nice place to get out of the Orlando themed park and shopping mall activities. Certainly recommend a walk through this park. The walk in the woods is easy pretty flat. For sure a place to visit!

Pleasant afternoon stroll. We came to paddle board but missed the cut off time. We barely saw half the park. Sound of traffic noise. Porta potty was clean (smelly!) Saw albino squirrel and heron. Give yourselves at least 1.5 hrs to enjoy the park.

Did not see it
I can confirm Fred's information. $30 for 2 hours and it is well worth it! Beautiful creek, but beware alligators and snakes :)
Yes, free parking!
Too subjective of a question. Pretty much any place is good for most pictures. It all depends on what you want.
Nooooo sir
Steffee Landing never closed
They have several covered pavilions with picnic tables. First come, first serve, no cost to reserve...have fun!!
There are 2 parks with same name, the park on Bass rd has a dog park and Steffee Landing had lots of people walking their dogs..
No, there are alligators or crocodiles present, I don't remember which, and other aquatic life present that aren't to be disturbed.
Went kayaking and had a great time. State park, so they do maintenance a lot. Just tell the people at the check in building
No
There is a big grill next to the pavilion on the Steffee Landing side
No, is free to walk and ride your own bike.
I believe there were a couple covered areas. Not sure how many people would hold.
Do you have to pay to fish? Do they require fishing lisc permits? Can we just teach our littles?
Yes, we have taken our own SUPs there and enjoyed it.
There are maps along the trail, but you don't really need one since there are only 2 trails overall. You can find the map in the website. Seems over a mile. I've seen a few runners, but mostly people on bikes.
It's not guided but it is a marked trail. There's also kayaking or canoeing.
Yes it'll need to be on a leash. There's also a park you can walk it to.
The name is Marsh Rd. Unfortunately because of construction the Marsh Rd landing I believe is temporary closed because you can't canoe pass the bridge
There is a large tolerance on the part of the crocodiles. You can take your dog with you.
I'm not sure they allow boats with motors. Only been kayaking here and have never seen a motorized anything. It's very small and there is a huge cypress forest that scrapes along the bottom of the kayak as you navigate through. Best bet? Just call.
My daughter and swam there. The water is so nice. Just be observant and swim in a shallow area. Gators are very timid creatures and will leave you alone.
No, it is currently closed to the public.
no..its small..
Free admission to the park trails. There is admission pricing for the Pioneer Village. And there is canoe and kayak rentals.
No free to enter but there a paddleboard canoe and guided tours that you can pay for it which are great definitely
Yes you can fish.
If you want to get ready for hills got to Broussards Catfish Creek Preserve. It is Sandy and has lots of hills to climb, will get you in shape! Elevation is about 150ft but the sand makes it seem like more! I know this a year old question but others may like to know.
Yes, both can be used on paths and picnic common areas.
Yes pets are allowed but only in the case of dogs no other pets and that is in the rooms only and there's an extra charge for them
Admission is free, you only pay for renting kallak or canohas
