Wonderful products - just getting into backpacking at a later age in life, without fail everyone I listen to endorses their filters as being the best. I live in St Pete, only 30 minutes away, thought what a great company, and find out they are local, and not only have water filtration but insect repellent and first aid systems, definitely going to keep buying local for me! Thanks got great video on cleaning the mini.

Does Sawyer Permethrin expire? I don't see an expiration date anywhere on the packaging. Is one year old Permethrin as effective as a newly bought product? Thanks Frank Zimbardi

Sawyer Permethrin has a shelf life of 10 years if properly stored in a cool, dry location away from direct UV exposure. We would recommend thoroughly shaking the bottle before use, especially if it has been sitting for an extended period of time.

Can you tell me if the Sawyer Premium Insect Repellent 20% Picaridin is still good.? There are no expiration dates on the container. Thank you.

It has a shelf life of 10+ years if stored in a cool, dry place. Just be sure to thoroughly shake the bottle before use.
