This is a fantabulous antique store. They have quite a comprehensive selection of goods. There is soo much to see as it was almost like visual overload. You can easily spend half a day in here looking through all different sections and goods from, jewelry, to furniture, comic books, and nick nacks etc to name a few. It certainly doesn't end there and it's tough to not find something of interest as they have it all covered. They also buy here as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back since we ran out of time. If you're looking for a good antique store to visit or sell to I recommend checking this one out.

I loooove this place. It's so clean and organized and I am addicted to coming here. Also, every single person who works here is awesome and on point. They make everyone feel comfortable and they're customer service is great. This is my favorite place to go when I'm looking for cool stuff. I recommend everyone visit this place at least once.

My first job was at a place very similar to this one much smaller on Dixie Highway in Miami. Since then I’ve been searching thrift stores, flea markets, Goodwills, and really any place that has secondhand stuff that I can rummage through. I love this place because it is basically like a mall. A bazaar or market of small booths that are like little shops o that are managed by one main shop register. You choose your treasure and you take your item to the register where with the tag they identify the seller and basically you are rung up taken care of by a main cashier. It offers discounts and it also offers bigger discounts on cash buys. You don’t necessarily get a bargain even though that’s what you might be looking for. For example I bought a beautifully crafted Panatierre ceramic basket and later googled it and found the same one albeit in a different color for half the price on eBay. But it’s an antique store which means it’s a curated thrift shop and that has a premium on it. And you still get to rummage!

My BB & I "discovered" VAM yesterday. We had gone to Mt Dora antique shopping & stopped for lunch when we noticed the intriguing storefront. Naturally, we had to check it out. Boy was it ever a good decision!! VAM was jam-packed and a total candy store for antique shoppers!!!! Love the great service-with-a-smile staff, the VARIETY of selections, the terrific displays and the awesome bargains!! We WILL be back there in November! Thank you Laura and company. Joy Elrod

Yes! We are dog friendly. In fact you may see our resident canine, Atticus behind the counter. Be sure to say to hello to him… He loves our customers!
Good morning! Glad you enjoy our store! I would love to see your dirty they are pieces. Could you either come to the shop on Monday or Tuesday from noon to five or send me photos at 352-223-2203? My name is Laura. Have a great Saturday!
Yes we do!
We do indeed allow dogs… Often, we bring our own dogs in to hang out. We just ask that dogs be of course people friendly and very well behaved and housetrained :-) and that they love antiques!
No, the main thing I look for in Antique stores are the Japanese paper houses from the 1920s. The paper is called putz.
Sorry I'm not familiar with those books
