A quintessential local spot. Great opportunity to escape the urban hustle and bustle of Zionsville and reconnect back to nature. Great place to take your dog, provided that they are on a leash.

This park is beyond words! It amazes me how many pretty and breath taking parks we have in Indiana. I've been going to a new park every weekend but this one is my top fave. I love all the different trails you can take I seen snakes, frogs, turtles and even collected shells from the lake. If your looking for a pretty nature park THIS IS IT! Will be returning <3

Nice long trails, mostly flat except the two main entry exit paths which are very long and steep, but traveled by good steps. When we visited in early spring 2021 many paths by the river were flooded and very muddy. If there has been lots of rain, WEAR BOOTS.
