Terrible customer service - at 7 pm when they were closing - one customer service rep said “go ahead and make your selection or I am just going to close the store down” Zero concern for customer service, will never go there again

My husband put a reservation on a storage unit at the Uhaul located on 30750 US Hwy 19, Palm Harbor, FL days in advance on November 17th and gave his credit card. We received a confirmation email and were in the process of moving into state. We filled up our Jeep and came today, November 19th to drop stuff off and waited 20 minutes for someone to help us. This was all not an issue as i understand bussinesses are busy. The issue was when the curly dark haired lady came out and told us our reservation was canceled. I asked why we weren't notified and why it was canceled when we gave our credit card information and reserved it. The curly haired lady sarcastically remarked, "Honey, when you have a dinner reservation and don't show up they don't hold your table." No apologies and no explaination was offered. First of all this is terrible customer service. Second of all, this is different from a dinner reservation. We thought by giving our information and credit card it was reserved, held and paid for as of November 17th. (Charge us for those days we don't care). Instead, they are more interested in making money than having a good relationship with customers. No where does it state that reservations will be canceled unless you show up the day you reserved them. This is terrible customer service and we will never use Uhaul again. We went back to the parking lot and called SecureSpace Self Storage Clearwater right after and recieved assistance immediately. We were able to get a unit right away and it was cheaper! The service was great and they also have boat storage so we will store our boat there as well! I guess everything happens for a reason.
