I’ve been scammed by many companies in my lifetime, but never as audaciously and for as much money as we have just been scammed with Spectrum. This company is criminal! Long story short: they somehow associated my credit card with my brother's account and I was charged $1,703.90 for HIS charges. I tried to get them to move the charges over to his account and they claimed they would and would send me a check for what I was owed. But I didn't get it and then they claimed all I could do was report THEIR FRAUD to my credit card company! Don't ever, ever, ever trust Spectrum. And by the way, their internet service is AWFUL!

After several years of poor internet connection and frequent increases in payments, we terminated service with Spectrum 3 days after billing cycle. Spectrum feels that they are entitled to the full amount for a full months services and debited my account. Just FYI, this company is the worst, there service is poor at best and the frequent rate increases are unacceptable and is basically theft. Three separate representatives gave us the party line ,we don’t prorate. It’s not the money (143.43), it’s the principal, they are getting paid for NOTHING.

After I could not restart my router, I called customer service, and the rep advised me the router had expired. She gave me the option of waiting for an appointment and having a technician switch it out, or going to a store and switching it out myself. She gave me this location, which turned out to be the corporate office, and not a place for me to take care of my business. The guard then gave me a paper with a list of the closet locations, the closet being 23 miles away. He was not aware of the brand new store 5 miles away. No.
