Milton Animal League is an amazing organization that is completely volunteer run! All members of this shelter care deeply about the animals in their care and this ranges from dogs, to cats, to chickens and any other creature that makes it through their doors! Definitely recommend them if you are looking to rescue and they are open on Saturdays to the public if you want to stop by and see who is looking for a fur-ever home!

"HORRIBLE" place too adoptable!!! Don't believe them if they say they'll take the animal back, and allow you to adopt another one if it doesn't work out, because they won't! Straight lied to get the animal adopted out, and then they looked at me as though it was my fault the animal didn't work out! Even lied about pets available for adoption, by stating they were spoken for.... but they were still on the website for adoption weeks later.

Milton Animal League is a completely volunteer run organization and are always willing to chat in person on Saturday mornings when it is open to the public! They have had many highschool students volunteer there in the past if I am not mistaken!
Yes, you can volunteer, but you must be 15 to work with the cats (with parental consent - signing a form) and 18 to work with dogs and on the desk.
15 years old to do work with the cats (with parental permission). And 18 to work with dogs or be on the desk.
