Generally it hasn't been the easiest place to get an appointment, but with a concerted effort and planning it feels like I'm on the inside now. In the epic snow that was 2015 I needed a snow blower and I acquired one off a friend that he claimed barely worked. BHPE was impossible to get an appointment that winter, best he could offer was to plan for next year/Sept so I limped along. In Sept they serviced it and I chatted with him. He is an older guy who would like to be thining about retiring, or maybe slowing down but who is clearly busy with the city and local business machinery to maintain, let alone individual residents. He says these days its also extremely hard to find small engine mechanics to hire so at times its just been him working. It wasn't cheap that first service, somewhere around $400 but I had no expectations it would be cheap. He did add a gas tank shut off and tank bleed that I did not ask for, but I would never have known to ask for. I believe it was totally worth it. The snow blower has run great every year since, no problems. Bleeding out the ethanol gas every time is the only way and using his pure gas at the end of the season appears to greatly help the snow blower. My friend had major issues every year apparently. BHPE also serviced my lawn mower. That works great too. As long as you chat to the guy and work with him, its a worth putting in the effort. He has also taught me a lot about running and maintaining my own machine which I knew nothing about. I would recommend this place. Also get my Grill gas here. He taught me to keep an eye on the dates on the cans too.

I have been going to Blue Hill Equip. for 9 years and found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. They patiently taught me how take care of snow blowers, chain saws, and a generator and to avoid unnecessary expense. God bless them!

I brought my Husqvarna lawn mower to this store to repair under warranty, because they are authorize dealer. I called Husqvarna to confirm that they are authorize repairer before I made the trip. when I get there, they said that I didn't buy the lawn mower there, and they won't do that for me. they even asked me to return my new lawn mower to Lowes that was purchased few days ago, and buy from them. worst customer service I ever had in the U.S. I wish I can give them 0 star.
