Great place. The best walk in shelter in the Boston area. Lame how they only have like 40 female beds, tho. The blokes gets like 200. 😒 Food was also fairly good for a wet shelter.👌

Can I leave my personal belongings there so I can work?
There is no *immediate* storage at any of the facilities in the entire city. And I'm not singling out this particular hostel because their entire staff is known to treat guests respectfully, but the city of boston and its "homeless industry" are far behind West Coast cities on that issue. For example, San Diego's mayor has provided two large storage facilities for people who have nowhere to keep their belongings, so they can go to work every day and don't become physically exhausted from hauling their stuff around all day long.
Socks, shampoo body wash conditioner, backpacks
Call before just showing up. 5pm daily.
Yes, there use to be a small dining place on Dartmouth Street in Boston, I hoping that it might be still open and running And also Francis House on Boylston stree at the intersection of Tremont Street Take care
Boston doesn't have much Homeless Services, I have Experienced that for myself, Albuquerque is Great though, but there are a lot of Addicts so be careful.
Hi Rebecca. Thanks for checking in. At the Mission, we're not equipped to handle couples or service animals, but if they haven't already, they can check out several options at https://www.bphc.org/whatwedo/homelessness/emergency-shelter-commission/Pages/Shelters.aspx.

Within the same building, there are men's beds (limited) and women's beds which are separated by floor, but no "couples" beds to speak of.
At 7 for the overflow if they have cots open
But bring your own pillow, otherwise you'll need to roll up a shirt or jacket to use instead.
Hi Marlon. The Mission provides emergency overnight shelter and transitional (temporary) housing for people who are looking for permanent housing. Some agencies provide permanent housing for certain guests, but we do not.
We serve a community breakfast Saturday mornings at 9am on the Boston Common by the fountain near the Park Street T stop . Breakfast on other days is limited to program members in our emergency overnight shelter and residential recovery programs.
to get all the homeless people housing
