When we stopped in, they were quite busy and clearly overwhelmed. Two women were taking care of a full dining room somehow. They were rushing like crazy, but they made it happen. I expected a long wait for my food, but it came out surprisingly fast. Hats off to the entire team and especially the kitchen staff. Service was awesome and the food was exactly as delicious as it has been during our previous visits.

Revive Disciple

Went there at 4pm on 2/24/22. No customers there that I could see upon my arrival. The employees who greeted me were awesome. One of them told me about the place, since I had never been there before. I then waited for my friend to show up. Friend didn't show, so I decided to eat there by myself. As I was walking to a booth to sit down, I noticed there were several booth seats that had crumbs on them, and as I touched the table I was going to sit at, I noticed it had crumbs or residue on it as well. I told the employee I wouldn't be staying, and left. I really like the set-up in the main room with the seating and small stage. I wish I could've experienced some of the food, but when employees can't keep the place clean amidst a huge lull in business, they don't deserve my patronage.

Five Star Dive Bar is truly an AMAZING place to experience LIVE music! The 1985 absolutely LOVES the crowd and staff that make it an great place to play! The owner Jason’s commitment to his guests having a great experience only has grown over our years of playing here. If you’re in the Elkhart area, get to Five Star for some great live music, along with amazing food and drinks.

The decor is simple and straight forward. The food was impressive, yes even memorable. They actually served our steaks as ordered! (Not over cooked.) Fortunately we were not in a rush. They seemed to be understaffed. Nice live entertainment.
