Enjoyable meal. Husband and I really love the Octopus, crab and oysters. We found the liver pate to be a bit strong and would probably pass on that in the future. The drinks were good though not terribly strong.

Great food and service. Everyone was very helpful with wine and coffe options etc. Could answer any questions about the meal!

Impeccable service start to finish for our group of 7. Lamb chops were amazing, as were the filets. Highly recommend for an upscale experience in South Bend.

Today was supposed to be my birthday dinner and we decided to go to La Salle grill for a nice meal, BIG MISTAKE. The food was cold, the filet was way undercooked and the salmon was greatly undercooked. The main courses were more like eating steak tartare and sushi than a nice filet and a nice piece of salmon. See attached pictures. The filet was supposed to be prepared medium to well done. The service was average…..at best. When the filet arrived at our table, a young/inexperienced runner left the food without even inquiring if the preparation was correct. We have visited many great restaurants around the country and this was among the worst in this category. Cold food, undercooked salmon and beef and inattentive service guarantees we will NEVER return to this establishment. Our home is in Dallas and it is unlikely the La Salle grill would survive for 90 days before market forces would shut it down. To cap it off, the price on the bill was higher than the menu price. Do yourself a favor…..go somewhere else for a special meal. I strongly recommend you don’t waste $200 on a dinner at La Salle. You can do better at a Chili’s

I did just that and as I said in my question...all I received was reviews from Trip Advisor; there was no option to purchase a gift card. I ended up having to open an account with InstaGift and had to print out a tacky gift certificate because the couple I was purchasing for does not live and die by technology thus I could not email them the certificates.
Hello Sharon. We have two rooms on the second floor (”The Boardroom” and ”The Colfax Suite”) that are used for private parties. If you would like to check for availability and learn more details including specialized menu options, please give Linda Hall a call anytime Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm. 574-288-1155.
They have a reader at the restaurant that can let you know
There is no kids menu but some basic entrees kids would eat (fish, burger, pasta)
LaSalle Grill does not discriminate from serving anyone that I am aware. The restaurant asks that you dress in business casual or better. It is an upscale restaurant.
You can also check the LaSalle Kitchen and Tavern facebook page. The Kitchen and Tavern is the 3rd floor of the restaurant and is where live music performances take place. Used to be the old Club LaSalle.
