You can have your wedding at the cathedral. We don’t do receptions but Cairnwood Estate across the road does. Call the cathedral for details.
No the religion of the Cathederal is based on the teachings of the New Church. My husband and I are Catholic and married there although we are not part of the congregation. Use of one of their ordained New Church ministers to preside is required. The total cost is $3,500 for use of the Cathederal, a coordinator, and a minister for your ceremony, and also includes use of the grounds for photos before/after.
Unfortunately, we allow wedding photos only for weddings taking place at the cathedral. We'd be overwhelmed otherwise. Cairnwood Estate and Glencairn Museum allow photos for a fee. Check them out.
There is no dress code for the outside if you are just strolling in. For events or services- should probably check with whomever is setting them up.
There are hours when the grounds are open to the public and they also offer tours inside. Anyone can come to services unless it is a private ceremony of some sort.
