Used to frequent Darwin's. Concerned about how workers are treated here, especially following the 7 minute walk out. FYI, the Venn Diagram between Darwin's customers and people who shop "free range", organic, Equal Exchange coffee, etc is almost a circle. Come to the table in good faith or lose customers. And no, squashing organizers won't help--we actually talk to baristas, and I'm not gonna get a "good vibe" from the place if you have the cutest couches but the baristas are straight up not having a good time.

The Irving sandwich on a French baguette (see pic) is high recommended. Great space, music, coffee. However, the packaging of the sandwich we ordered was pretty greasy, which may not be always the case here, so you need to be careful about grabbing it or mixing it with other personal stuff.

We've been operating at 50% capacity since initial lockdown in March; we are open everyday from 8AM - 3PM. Online ordering through our website recommended, takeout only, face covering required, no indoor seating, some outdoor seating! As always, gloves are worn by all sandwich makers, and we always sanitize everything anyway. We are closed Christmas Day and New Years Day.
