I'm originally from Rochester, so coming back to the city I wanted to go to Nick Tahoe however open times have change so a family member (Wendell) told us to try Lake Hots, so he took my friend Tony Mango and I to Lake Hots, the food was awesome, so awesome we went back 3 times during our 10 day stay. We damn near tried everything on the menu and everything was awesome....5 stars for this one!! If your going to Rochester NY definitely try Lake Hots your taste buds and stomach will thank you!! #FassBlack

Usually love going to this place and enjoy the food. Yesterday (3/30/17), tried to place an order over the phone and was told my order wouldn't be placed because I was ordering and my fiance would be picking it up and paying with a credit card. Was told they can't take orders over the phone for credit card purchases over the phone without seeing the card. Tried to explain I was just placing the order and he would be coming into pay and pick up. The guy that answered the phone stayed speaking over me and blatantly refused to take my order. Needless to say we decided to go somewhere else and spend our $50.00 at another restaurant. Really disappointed with the service we received on this occasion. Especially since we're long time customers and usually spend at least $40-50 every time we frequent here. Returning is unlikely but I guess we'll see based on how they respond to this review. Hopefully they will respond and we can forget this happened and continue to be customers.
