On vaca in Lake George, NY, Docksider was recommended by local resident. I had called the restaurant and asked if there was a wait, we we're told no wait. They don't do reservations its first come first serve. We arrived 15min later, parking lot is big but be aware it fills up quickly and there was quite a line waiting to get in...But we waited about 15-20 min. and we were seated right away. This place is busy so be prepared to kinda know what you want, they make it easy as they had specials boards along the path while you wait. So we ordered the prime rib special, I got clam chowder she got the tomato basil soup to start, drinks and soups came out right away, our server Kamryn was fantastic and all the staff there were hustling without making you feel rushed. The chowder and tomato basil soup were delicious. We enjoyed the lakeside view while we ate dinner. Timing was just about perfect as our dinners came right out. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, baked potato cooked perfectly, corn on the cob, and a dinner roll. Good size portions, you won't leave hungry. So if we weren't already stuffed we ordered desert, we got the Italian lemon cake, and shared it...wow! Good stuff! Yes its on the upper price scale, but we'll worth it! Hats off to Kamryn and staff, you guys were hustling, doing the great things of a successful restaurant, keep up the good work! Thank you for a great dinner!

The Docksider is an amazing restaurant! The food is great, the location is fantastic. Being on a lake then utilizing it to it's fullest ability by BEING ABLE TO PARK YOUR BOAT THERE! That is so cool, I've never seen a place like it. Even better, they have The Docksider merch which is very comfortable.

Very nice indoor bar and outdoor restaurant on the lake. Friendly staff, fast service, decent food. I had a chicken Caesar salad that was fine, not outstanding, needed a more flavorful dressing. Do go, it's worth it to see for yourself if this place is for you! The bar has that, "everybody knows your name" feel.

Gorgeous location, phenomenal staff & mouthwatering delicious food. The Docksider is located a little bit off the beaten path, but it’s worth it just to find this place. The staff were lovely and very helpful, the owner was sweet and kind and the food was beyond delicious!! I had to take 1 million photos just because of how gorgeous the location alone was. Christine the owner also maintains a beautiful garden all along the property. It takes your breath away. If I’m ever in this area again I will definitely be paying the Dockesider a visit. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Sorry for the late reply. Owner would like to be open all the time buy help is a issue. I can say when they are staffed and open..mind you last week they only closed wens and Thurs you won't be disappointed they are very attentive and friendly and the setting is mind blowing. The establishment is very clean 👌and reasonably priced
I was there a couple weeks ago...no they do not take reservations...but the waiting line moved quickly....this was on a Saturday evening.
They are excellent! I was extremely impressed with their cleaning...they sprayed and wiped down the tables and the chairs. Tables were spaced out. Hand sanitizer was available when you first walked in. Made me feel a little more comfortable about going out to eat
Yes they are!, open seven days a week from 11:30am till 9pm (10pm on weekends).
