This was a really bad experience from start to finish. I felt like Troy was trying to not be straight with me every time I spoke to him. My check engine light turned itself off? Sounds questionable, but ok. Then why are you “suggesting” a $600 repair? But he didn’t even suggest the repair, he called me to tell me the estimate was in my email - but he didn’t want to go over the estimate with me on the phone. Then when I picked up my car - after declining the “best guess” $600 repair - they tried to charge me $112 for their diagnostic. But the whole time trying to explain the $112 charge, he wouldn’t meet my eye or look me in the face. Sketchy. I had previously talked with Bobby on the phone and he seemed straight, but based on my in person experience, I won’t be going back even if my CE light comes back on. Be warned.

My first experience was when my son called AAA due to a late night problem. Affordable Auto and Truck Repair arrived quickly, towed his car to their facility and secured it and repaired and returned it to him the next day. I have since taken my car for regular maintenance and new tires; my wife's car due to an electrical issue; and my daughter's car for a sensor issue. For my daughter's car, Bob recommended that we also replace her tires. He gave me a quote on a new set of tires but also informed me that for the type of tire my daughter needs, he wouldn't be able to compete with the national tire companies and suggested I shop around. At every juncture, Bob has dealt with me honestly and fairly, always kept me updated on cost and time to completion of the job, and provided quality service. By putting himself in the shoes of his customer, Bob and Affordable Auto and Truck Repair offer the highest degree of customer service. They deserve and have earned my highest recommendation.
