Great Eye Doctor's, Friendly Receptionis when Checking In-Out, Usually a Wait, Must Where Masks, My Appointment was on the Fith Floor.

My Mom who is 96 had an eye exam scheduled months ago for 10:00 am the other day. When we showed up (early I will add), we were told by the receptionist that appointments were running 1 hour to 1 and a half hours late. We were told that they would do everything to try to expedite my mother’s appointment as quickly as possible so we decided to wait. Patients were piling up in several waiting rooms and after learning from a patient that had been waiting much longer than us (and we had already been waiting 45 minutes), that the reason they were running so late was that they decided to close the office early that day. As a result, they apparently called all the patients scheduled for the afternoon and doubled and tripled booked them with the morning patients. We couldn’t believe that this was the way they treated their patients. No matter how good the doctors are, this is a disgrace and no one should ever be treated this way. They should have reached out to patients and rescheduled them or made them aware of the long wait times. We had to leave because after 45 minutes, no one had even reached out and we had other commitments to get to. What a wasted morning. If we ran our business this way, we would not have any clients. This is disrespectful and totally unsafe for my 96 year old mother as well as all the other seniors there who had to sit and wait hours in makeshift waiting rooms. All of the people responsible for running this office should be ashamed of their conduct and uncaring attitudes and for creating an unsafe environment during a pandemic. There is no value to visiting an office that is so poorly managed.

I made an appointment for monday July 27th. As soon as I got here and parked my car 20 minutes before my appointment my cell rings. It was the eye doctor office. I was informed that they are canceling my appointment and need to reschedule for August 4th. I was told that the tech and doctor thought it was best for me to see the doctor herself for August 4th. I was very shocked that they are able to do this 20 minutes before my appointment. I find this disrespectful that they make patients have to re arrange there schedule.

We where told to be here 15 minutes early. We got here at 110 the apointment was for 130 its now 240 and no eye doctor has seen my elderly dad yet. He is 74 and is high risk so for them to leave him here with so many people and noone telling him whats going on. Good thing he had someone with him.
