Loved this place well worth the cost, so beautiful, lots of history and cool stories. Everyone is friendly and so willing to answer any questions. After the tour they let you go back and view everything on your own. We will be back.

Wilson Castle is Awesome !!!! It is also haunted 👻 so it's a great place to investigate .

Really loved this place... it's too bad it's in such rough shape. It's not exactly what I expected, but really cool in a different way. It's way out in the middle of nowhere. The staff were really nice, letting me walk around on my own and take as many pics and vids as I wanted. I really appreciate it. I just wish I could've gone up to the third floor. I understand their reason... but I still wanna go up there (lol).

I wish that this place was my home, truly. The location is beautiful as well as the people who own and care for it. I am happy that restoration is in progress and encourage people to aid in bringing this historic gem back to its original beauty as much as possible. You will not be disappointed if you visit Wilson Castle, especially if you love history or architecture.

No moneylocal government did not provide grants.
Good reason to always call first, sorry you wasted your time, but I can tell you this is a huge disappointment, it's condition is bad, and not worth any trip let alone money to see as a "Stately Home"! This HAUNTED TOUR, well it's an old building with a lot of history as age, NOTHING ELSE happened here trust me. Sad it's being used for any kind of tours, It's a waste of time, money and space. ☹️☹️☹️
They have contact info on their website www.wilsoncastle.com
Call them.
Yes, they open in May but it's good to call ahead to find out for sure because the times of year vary.
The original person that built the Castle was John Johnson it took him 8 years in about 1. 3 million dollars which was high in those times but there are a lot all their buildings on the premises to that are no longer. I think only one of the other buildings that still remain is across the street. And it was in the late 1930s that the Wilson family bought the Castle and the family still owns it. But the person Frank I have no idea who you're talking about and president of what. Sorry I couldn't be more help
