The original person that built the Castle was John Johnson it took him 8 years in about 1. 3 million dollars which was high in those times but there are a lot all their buildings on the premises to that are no longer. I think only one of the other buildings that still remain is across the street. And it was in the late 1930s that the Wilson family bought the Castle and the family still owns it.
