My 79 year-old dad and his friend got the wild hair to visit me in Vermont in Winter (they are from the South) to go snowmobiling. I needed a place for them to stay near Stowe and of course thought of my friends Jane and Greg. Their historic farmhouse with a cute and private space (it's like a studio apartment) was PERFECT! But moreover, Jane and Greg were consummate hosts....providing little extras most would not even think of. From the initial booking to the day of departure, you could tell that details mattered at the Lonely Goat....and they were certainly appreciated. The hosts were welcoming and attentive but with no intrusiveness. I love the location....close to everything Waterbury and Stowe have to offer, but a quick drive to Burlington and Lake Champlain and the Capital region. Thank you so much for contributing to making my memories for my family. You guys are awesome!!!
