I really enjoyed my day skiing here. Fun mountain. Easy to do laps. Base lodge is fantastic. The mountain has a lot of character.

Awesome mountain. The staff are super friendly and chatty. My sister and I were on our way home and just wanted to get some runs in before we left, and this was the perfect mountain for it. The trails were fun and not crowded. The sun was out and it was just awesome.

Small Mountain, Big Business What a let down. At the end of the 2021 season I got out for my only day of the year. Bought a lift ticket when the mountain opened, and waited and waited for the lifts to run. Apparently they were broken and would not run that day, but those who showed up were told about every half hour that the lifts were about to run. After four hours of waiting, the mountain closed for the day. I was reluctantly offered a voucher to come back. When I came back this season, I was told it was peak season and the voucher wasn't redeemable. I can somewhat understand that, so I asked to pay the difference in a non-peak ticket and peak ticket. Nope. Not even second of consideration for that very reasonable request. It was 89$ for a ticket, which was my only option at that moment. I was told I could wait 30 minutes for the half day pricing, which was not only ridiculous in concept but also way overpriced. I continued to explain but there was nothing they would do to work with me. In hindsight the 2021 lift ticket I purchased should have been been reimbursed since the lifts never ran. So I still have this voucher and a really bad impression of the way this small, local mountain does business. Before leaving this review, I wrote the mountain in hopes that a reasonable person would get involved and make this right - it would have been so easy to do, and so many chances along the way before it came to leaving this unfortunate review. I've still not heard back after five days, but I suspect a marketing professional will offer some spin in response to a google review.

Typically not enough for the ski area to be open in November. Usually by December or January there's enough snow. If it's a particularly snowy and cold year, and they can make snow, it might open in late November during Thanksgiving week.
I believe it's ok as long as it's leashed to you.
there's lodging in Woodstock just a couple miles down the road. The ski area website shows a link to lodging pkgs both hotel and b&b
No there is not currently tubing at the ski hill.
