First time at Swain, we visited from Buffalo. It's a smaller place than Bristol, but the skiing was great. Infrastructure was older, and a little slower. The runs were well maintained, and it was not overly crowded for a Sunday afternoon and evening. They had a band in the lodge which we did check out. Good food selection and great beer list. The town was small but I would return to check the places out. All if the staff was great. We will return.

****Northampton ski hill**** This is a great place for a quick day of skiing. It is the best value for someone wanting to learn how to ski. Not only great for learning but they also have a jump, rail, and a tube that adds an additional level of fun for intermediate skiers. The staff is always friendly (especially Jess)and is willing to make your experience enjoyable. The manager (Katie) is always there and is a great asset to there success!

I grew up skiing at this mountain and always had fond memories of it. I returned back this ski resort to Swain for the first time in over 10 years and it still does not disappoint! Prices are very reasonable, especially with their deal days, and staff was friendly and helpful. I did wish there was another lift open that was closer to Mile Sweep when I was there, but it was a week day and not busy so I understood. I had a really fun time skiing with my father, and I know he had a nice time as well!

Conditions were amazing, still lots of powder from the storm over the weekend. The folks in the rental shop were awesome, got my grandson all set up with boots and a helmet. Thanks for a fun night.

You can come six people, you can come six years old, you can come six p.m. when they're open for night skiing, and you can come six a.m., but the slopes usually open around 9 a.m. for morning skiing. Hope this helps!
No, the tubing park is closed.
