Terrible experience, owner was rude and provided missinformation during booking. Your reply is full of lies, it's so interesting the way you handle these situations of customers/guests having a bad experience. After reading through the reviews seems as though it is not unfamiliar for you to treat your guests poorly, you should consider a better approach other then lies and accusatory statements. Or just try being somewhat accommodating and welcoming to your guests to being with.

Claims they’re motorcycle friendly. Absolutely not motorcycle friendly. The owner looks out for no one but himself. I highly recommend going somewhere else so you can actually enjoy your vacation. This guy has no business ethics what’s so ever. Campers on both sides of us had nothing but bad things to say about this owner and his operations. He claims we are slandering but unfortunately it’s all true. Not here to harm just letting future customers know about the situation at this campground.

We love it here. For us, and our 3 kids ages 5-10, it is our happy place. We have a seasonal site and spend most of our weekends "at camp". The place is always immaculate and well maintained. We've never had an issue come up that wasn't handled as quickly as possible by the owner or staff. The sites are all beautiful and spacious with some shade, especially the prime river sites. Our kids love to swim in the pool, use the swingset and sandbox and walk or bike around the loop. We love that its small and quiet and we know that our kids can safely venture away from our site. The river is the absolute best part, with several beach areas for swimming, floating or a (usually) calm ride down river. The shoreline is abundant with wildlife...we've seen bald eagles, herons, baby turtles, loads of fish and frogs, and our kids spend hours diving and digging for crawfish. The rules are clear and enforced, which contributes to the peaceful atmosphere that you can feel as soon as you step out of your car. If you are looking for a free-for-all campground that's loud and lets guests come and go all hours of the night, this probably isn't the place for you. If you want a nice, relaxing weekend in a gorgeous spot by the river, this is it!

So rude & disrespectful. Whoever said “don’t listen to the bad reviews, it’s under new management!” You’re WRONG. We stopped in earlier in the day to discuss check-in prior to checking in; the man who owns the campground rudely snapped “there’s no check ins till 1”. We told him that we know, we just wanted to ask a few questions since we were driving by. He snapped at us there are no check ins until one again, ignoring everything we said. There’s no visitors allowed after 7 (what campground does that? We don’t even get out of work until 6! Not to mention it doesn’t get dark until after 9) and all visitors, regardless of time of day, can’t drive into the campground at all. You have to park at the entrance & have whoever rented the site drive you in. In conclusion, this campground is small, extremely strict, overpriced & has no sense of hospitality in any regard. For the love of god, don’t stay here. (Unless you want chuckles riding up in his clown car to yell at you)

No sewer at the site, though there is a dump station. I'm not sure about cable since we rarely use televison.
No...the owner will pick up eventually...very nice place with a pool and gorgeous River along the border. If he is full he tends to not answer or he could be out mowing! Keep trying.
You can camp in a tent
