Excellent park with great amenities. Bathroom were always super clean. Showers were great with excellent water pressure. Staff at the window and the house by the pond were passionate about what they do and always ready to go above and beyond. Excellent State Park.

Very nice area. Berry Pond is really great. You can just stick around for a long time. The whole area is so peaceful and birds chirping is very soothing. We just decided to give it a try and we were very pleasantly surprised. If I am in the area again, I will sure consider visiting again.

Great place to hike and keep socially distanced! We camped three nights and we're very happy with the campground - bathrooms were obviously very recently built and the nest campground bathrooms I've ever seen! Note that some sites are actually on the perimeter of an open field (#26-31ish?) which is not what we expected, it doesn't give much privacy so people park cars between the sites. make sure to drive or hike to the top of the hill which is the camp road loop for the beautiful view!

I thought I might be taking a chance on fat biking during the winter and I was happily pleased to be greeted by, at least, 8 miles of groomed single track. It wasn't like it was packed by a snowmobile but rather, the trail looked more like a large heavy ball was dragged through the trails. Whatever it was, it was effective and it made for an awesome Friday morning ride!

Camp closes at dusk. Views and sunset spectacular but you will need to leave at dusk unless you are camping? Driving down in the dark on the unfamiliar road is not for the faint of heart. If camping at the top a short walk out from any site your find great star gazing or camp at the bottom in the field or a short walk to field from most sites. Rangers are great, but the know their job and who's camping and if you don't belong they will ask you to leave. With all that said I would just call the rangers for the best information, I am only giving you the information I know. Berkshire Community College has a great class if your looking for that route, lots of fun and the course book is a easy read and worth a purchase taking class or not. BCC may be able to connect you will the information you are looking for. Call the parks department or all local tourist information. I bet some places have start gazing events. Sorry to give so much information for a simple question.
Call directly to be informed of the routes.
Go to Reserve America that were you reserve a site and see the available and cost. Most states have been using Reserve America as the only way to book. In state people around $7.00 and out $50.00 a night plus other fees. I forget this type of info so fast I could be off. We just did 3 night as in state under $60.00.
I don't know there is no one there at the entrance.
Yes to both questions
Yes should be nice foliage
Only on some of them. Some of the "hiking" trails are actually paved roads (albeit somewhat crumbling). You could definitely drive a Jeep on those, but the actual hiking trails are way too narrow and winding.
Yes!!
Yes there's a bit. The weather is nice and crisp with blue skies and sunshine mostly but there's snow on the ground.
