Absolutely love this place. It's charming and magical, and you can tell they care so much about animals. I just wish they'd pave the road coming in and out. Don't worry about the parking lot, but pave the road incase it rains. This is just an absolute must see place

They have a great program that can be self led or with a guide who give everyone all the information about the bird, how it came to hawk creek and answered everyone's questions. The guide also caters the young people and answers there questions while keeping the engaged throught the tour. They had a guest musician who played his guitar very well by the way and sang to crowd at the central pavilion. His music was being played throughout every corner of the facility. They had a pavilion with activities and small crafts for the younger children. If there was anything that didn't exceed your expectation, it was the store, what little stuff they had was over priced even as fund raiser products. They need more themed products like bird feeders and bird houses or kits, bat houses and learning kits for the kids instead of just a few stuffed animals, cheap jewelry and tee shirts. I will be going back again with my grandchildren, it was a really great experience.

My recent experience at Hawk Creek was AMAZING. They assisted my boyfriend in setting up his proposal to me while we were doing an owl encounter and got it all on camera! The pictures turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

We hit up their last event of the season. This is a great little place to see both common and uncommon animals and gain a greater appreciation for conservation.

I would say to call the center for the best answer
They will do what they can but sometimes they can't save everyone. Thanks for caring and trying to do the caring thing.
They will most likely take him but they are a non profit organization that is a 100% voluntary operation. They will not pay a rehoming fee. But they will take well care of him. And I am sure they will display a sign or plaque with the name of the donor.
Take it to SPCA Wildlife on Harlem Rd if Hawk Creek can't help you. Opened til 8pm
