It was affordable.Bed clean and comfortable. 15 miles from Niagara. Hotel workers kind and accommodating. Very few amenities. One bucket of ice per room. Ice bucket leaked on table into hubbys luggage. :( no shampoo or conditioner. Continental breakfast, light but clean. Problems many of the carpets stained and wet. Slippery floor at bottom of stairs.

Just checked it out for a relative coming into town, but it exceeded our expectations. Rooms were on the small size but very much adequate. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Very good for what it intended to be.

The best thing one can say about this hotel is that the staff is very friendly. What a terrible experience! Though WiFi is available at the hotel it is virtually non existent and it is an "open network" making it risky to use any way. The system is so weak it barely works and so in order to get anything done you have to utilize your phone's data plan. This consumed a great deal of data, not to mention the inconvenience. And if you had to augment the so called Wi Fi, with your data plan, it would conflict with your phone leaving you no recourse but to exit. The hotel itself is extremely OUTDATED and the rooms are very small! Restrictions regarding the ice machine, the breakfast offered as free is hardly worth the trouble, and again everything there belongs in a time capsule. The hotel was clean but I had a bathroom door that would not stay in any position other than wide open. This is important because with NO night light, once the curtains were drawn it was so dark you could not safely move around the room. So I created a night light by wedging a towel under the door so as to leave it open a crack leaving the light on all night. The other really terrible issue was that the air conditioner had NO temperature control even set to the warmest setting. It FROZE me each night of my three night stay requiring me to get out of bed and turn it off! In my opinion, this all adds up to management not spending the money necessary to make it a good consumer experience. So it makes you wonder, what did other guests experience. BTW, it was not much less per night than competitors in the area. Either way, I will never return.
