The first time I went to chameleon was to get my ears pierced. I subsequently did that again a few years later. Since then I’ve been tatted there at least three times and introduced several of my friends here. I guess that tells you everything u need to know about this place. Super clean and professional and they made me feel comfortable every time I visited between 2015-2019. Sucks to hear that the building will be going soon but I hope they find a new place because they are super dope.

I never write reviews for places, but this place went above and beyond! I was pretty nervous to get another tattoo since the last time I got one, I almost passed out, but from the minute I stepped inside and filled out a walk-in form with the guy at the front (Ovie was his name, not sure if that's how you spell it! He was super kind), my anxiety went way down. Dee did my tattoo, and not only was the draw-up of it beautiful and the final result cool as hell, her tattooing was so gentle that I literally could have fallen asleep. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of work that Dee put into it and I am SO glad I came here! The shop itself is extremely clean and cosy. Definitely recommend and will be back for sure.

After the 14th time being told, when I get my daughter's ears RE-pierced, I need to see Owen. (There was a prior Claire's failure on 1 of two ears.) We were not dissapointed; this was fast, easy, accurate and as a bonus I didn't need to cringe at the "sterile" technique employed. Will never see anyone else for future juvenile ear piercings, especially since they are moving even closer. Soon to be True Love Body Piercing of Watertown!

Love love love this place! I have gotten all of my tattoos from the past five or so years here, either from Markus or Dice. It's always been so clean, even pre COVID. The people working the front desk are always fun to chat to, and so friendly. I can't emphasize enough how much I've loved getting tattooed by both Markus and Dice. They are interesting to talk to, friendly, and just overall killer artists. I get compliments on their work all the damn time. From a cost perspective, I always feel like I'm paying a fair price for the incredible art I'm getting. Cannot emphasize enough how much I love this shop!

Most reputable shops won't pierce below 18
In my experience with both options, I've found that it doesn't hurt any more or less than a gun, but the healing process is MUCH less painful with a needle piercing and much less likely to heal weirdly or get infected.
The best! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Owen has done five piercings for me (the first two being my nostril & septum). I literally haven't gone to anyone else since finding this gem!

How much do you charge for Snake Bytes? and are you hiring for any jobs. I do artwork and I was learning from a friend who still is a tattoo and piercer. I would like to become an apprentice if your hiring.

I would also recommend calling them directly to ask what their policies are. The piercing studio is separate from the tattoo studio and is situated right next door.

There a quite a few artists there who have different specialties, so call and let them know what you're looking for and someone might be able to hook you up. I'm doing a Japanese piece that is also a double cover-up, and Rueben is doing an amazing job.

This is the shop's policy regarding body piercing for minors. "Some piercings can be done on minors, but not all of them. Minors that are 16 years of age and up can get the following piercings if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, with proper identification: ear lobe, ear cartilage (helix only), nostril, navel, eyebrow. We offer helix cartilage piercing for age 14 and up. Earlobe piercings can be done on children ages 5 and up with government issued photo ID for the parent or guardian and birth certificate of the minor."
Both my conch and double helix are 16g. I didn't request it so it just might be standard. Hope that helps.
If it's something simple they have walk ins on Saturday usually. Call ahead and check, though! Or drop by and see!
You should call the shop since there might be different jewelry options and you should book an appointment anyway to ensure they have someone on hand.
