The tech ran an 18 minute washer cycle and did absolutely nothing with the dryer although I told him I couldn't use some of the buttons. It was supposed to be a scheduled maintenance visit which I purchased with my washer and dryer. He did no cleaning of anything. No inspection of the gaskets--absolutely nothing. Do not pay for this service which is not a service at all. Nothing but a way to get your hard earned money and give you nothing in return.

He came on time and went thru my dryer, he tried changed a door switch that did not fix it, then he did some more testing, then spent time telling me it was my timer and the repair would be over 400,00 dollars. He asked if he could order the part and when it came in we would set up the return visit. I said no thank you that I had only paid 300 dollars for the dryer used and that was just to much money for me to pay. So he cleaned up and packed up, I paid him with a Credit Card and gave him a cash tip of 20.00 and he left. I called Appliances Unlimited ware I purchase the dryer to see if they had a used one for sale ? They asked me to bring the dryer I had back to them and they would look at it first and see if it could be repaired, so I took it back on Wednesday at noon, they called me one hour latter and said it was just a Thermo Fuse and they would run it for a hour or two to make sure there was nothing else wrong with it and that I could pick it up Thursday morning at no charge as it only took them 15 minutes with a 2 dollar fuse to fix the dryer I had. I picked it up on Thursday got it home, did three loads of wash and dried them. If I had done the repair for 400.00 plus dollars and it did not work what would you have done ?? They charged me to look at and tell me what was wrong with my dryer they said it would cost me 105.00 dollars it came to 168.10 that was just my first surprise. All he asked me from the first time he called me on his way to my house was to buy a warranty package at 50 dollars a month for all my appliances and was not happy that I said no thank you he come back to that question over and over. To me and anyone else it looks like the old days at Sears auto repair ware they charged for parts not installed or needed, they ended up being fined and had pay out lot's of money and had to stop repairing car's, and had to go to just changing tires and batteries. That was just one of the things that started Sears down fall. Lying to your customers and making them pay for services not rendered and parts not need will put the new Sears out of business again. I have asked for my money back and Have been told they do not back up there work and there warranty is dose not cover being very wrong and coasting someone 400.00 plus dollars for parts that should have been ordered in the first place I want a refund for being taken advantage of just because I'm old. For all the people thinking of using the New Sears do not do it.

Service staff never notified me of a smaller window for appointment other than the all day 8-5. They had my home phone, and cell phone number and I signed up for text messages. I finally called in the late afternoon after waiting all day and they said they would arrive between 3:30 and 5:30. Finally arrived and installed new panel part which did not work so they had to take a motor from the old panel. Nice enough service man but it makes you wonder if the new panel will last.

The techs are great the process stinks. It took 3 visits to repair our dishwasher. That means we were housebound for three days! The first visit was for diagnosis and ordering parts. Two weeks later we had the second visit. The tech who came this time said the wrong parts were ordered so two more weeks go by and the third visit arrived. This was the original tech who promptly fixed the machine with the parts he had ordered. This was a six week process that we were out of our dish washer. At the same time we had our grill to repair. After three visits and 6 weeks it is still not repaired and new parts are on order!!! In the middle of summer no less/
