Lovely property and shop. They decorate the store wonderfully. You can see all the old mill machinery and history while perusing. I got a few old books and wine glasses. The staff is courteous.

The gift shop is lovely and homey with good quality items. The museum is the reason for my low review. It is a self guided reading tour. We are a family of six and only one of us was young enough to get in for free. So we spent $35 to look at a barn for 15 minutes. Terrific barn though it is! But there was no demonstration, there is no visible water wheel. And the video they show is available on YouTube. If I hadn't spent that money I would probably have bought something to take away and remember the place by. Instead we took away a cheated feeling.

Short visit, will go back when water turbine is working. Nice shop with high quality wooden kitchen items , primarily the wooden boxes with tight fitting lids. Take a peek in the old garage for surprise old vehicles, and checkout the old blacksmith shop.

What a great place! It's quaint and old world and makes you feel...just good. The owner was very interesting and great to talk to. The merchandise is pretty pricey, so take some cash!
