Can my ex take the pets to the pound? I want my pets but cannot buy a home until an agreement is settled upon. We are settling with mediation next week? He gave me an ultimatum and told me to remove them from the house or he will, can he do this?

Unfortunately he just seems like a very unfair and unreasonable person, when people are going through life changing moments like yours some people take it out in the wrong manner. You can call the bureau during the day 9-12 and they will give you the appropriate day to call for intake and let you know if they can take on your case. It will also take time. What I would recommend would be keeping them a friend's house or family would be the better option until things are over that way you know they are safe. I hope this will help you in some kind of way. I hope you find closer and peace in the end in live at easy with your pets. Have a blessed year!
