I really liked Dr. Merrihew. I felt he was very helpful and listened to my concerns. The nursing staff as well has typically been pleasant. However there has always been an issue with them sending my medication and receiving proper care in timely fashion. I waited in the room for an hour yesterday to receive a 10 minute conversation about my medication mind you I was expecting to see my doctor. When I got to the pharmacy after waiting all day for them to be sent it was not at all what we discussed. I did vocally speak my concerns twice in regards to their incompetence and the provider who takes patients when my doctor is not available did not like to hear me speak my mind. My recommendation is Find an office who cares and move along. Some of these people are only there for your money and really don’t care about your needs and concerns. Good luck everyone!

Dr. Merrihew has been my primary doctor for 17+ years! In that time, he has always shown compassion, excellent diagnosis & treatment! He has provided me with excellent referrals as required, most recently this past May 2017 he suggested I check my PSA. The results came back elevated & referred me to an excellent Urologist at GF Hospital. Diagnosed with earl stage prostate cancer, I reviewed numerous options of treatment & chose CyberKnife a 5 day radiation treatment done at Winthrop NYU in NYC. Treatment was excellent with little or no side effects! F/U this month showed PSA levels dropping as they should. Highly recommend, not your typical “Doc in a box” facility!

Don is an excellent Doctor, and an excellent person. Our area is blessed to have someone of his competence and caring nature. I have never been anything but pleased with every interaction I have had with him.

Dr Mertihew and his staff are professional and helpful. I have been coming to Convenient care since 1997. Dr Mertihew has a wonderful friendly manner and is genuinely interested in his patients. He gives each one a generous amount of time. Last year he listened to a symptom I told him I had. Instead of dismissing it as trivial he sent me to the hospital for a cat scan which revealed a potentially life threatening condition that required a 5 day stay in Albany Medical in the stroke unit under the care of a vascular specilaist. I truly believe his compassion and dedication saved my life.
