The hotel is a lot of fun with all the activities and the people are very nice. We go there every year. The negatives are simply the location and distance to the beach. The rooms need to be updated. The carpet is dirty and it's just average overall. Again, we really like this place and we go back every year for a few days here and there so I would recommend it but more if you're not a big beach person

We think this property is just beautiful. We stayed there years ago & thought it was nice. Now we see even more improvements and the cleanliness & organization are managed so well. We believe the young lady at the front desk who helped us & was lovely was Abby. We will be very embarrassed if that is her name considering how nicely she treated us!! It may be her job doesn't mean it will happen! We also enjoyed our lunch at Mainland & met Alexa & Christine. Also so nice & food was yum!!

The lobby was the only nice thing about the location. Parking was rough because the hotel shares the lot. Rooms were small, floors dirty . Bathroom gross with no vent. There's an arcade and adventure place on the property but not attached to holiday Inn and they have a red/orange spotlight that shines on the building. Unfortunately right into the room we had. I would occasionally belt out Roxann and about her red light because the curtains were shot and didn't block the light.. All night.. Bed were meh.

The Holiday Inn located in Manahawkin, NJ right next to LBI have a wonderful hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The only thing that needs attention in their rooms is the carpeting. They look a bit dated and the carpets could use deep cleaning. Also there are no microwaves in their rooms. Although there is one located in the lobby around the corner from the reception area. Other than this our room was comfortable to relax in. If you are seeking to host an event this hotel is great for banquets and weddings they have gorgeous ballrooms! The rest of the hotel has been renovated since my last stay a few years ago. There is a great arcade for kids, nice swimming pool and and the perfect size fitness center. Also there is a convenient restaurant which is located inside the hotel called the Mainland kitchen and pub cafe. Needless to say we did enjoy our stay!
