Great, little neighborhood restaurant/bar. Service was friendly and quick. Shrimp, scallops and lobster were good! Rice was under-done. Cannoli was good. Drinks were good. Parking was easy. Would definitely return.

They really know how to cook seafood perfectly here. The grilled octopus appetizer may have been the best I've ever had. Makes me want to have the entree next time. I ordered the mixed seafood grill which was delicious. The shrimp and scallop were huge and perfectly prepared. The half lobster tail was grilled to perfection, wished it was bigger. So good. The crab cake was the week part of the dish, but it was delicious. My only issue was the beer I ordered(reason for 4 stars). The menu said Chimay Premier, not what I was served. A friend of mine was there a couple weeks ago and it was the same issue. My second beer was as ordered. We will definitely go back many times!

The place was nice! My server was so sweet! We had calamari which was ok. We had the crab dip which was nasty which sucked! Fried oysters which had no taste and too much batter. We also had The appetizer scallops which taste nasty. And we had the Rockefeller oysters they was so nasty that we had them take that off well we wanted most of the food off the tab but didn’t happen. I had the stuffed flounder with mashed potatoes and asparagus the flounder had no taste at all. Ugh the place was very disappointing. But they was so nice! Maybe time for a new cook!

My wife and I had the best experience at Max's. The food was amazing and the bar was beautifully authenic. We had the crispy oysters....awesome, avocado and crab.... awesome....clams...mussels...and martini's! Can't wait to go back again! Tom the owner is the best!
